Being a great place to live also means being a great place to work. A thriving economy and attractive tax rates for businesses, Marco Island is the perfect place to operate your business. There are 47,426 business establishments in Marco Island’s Collier County with fewer than 10 employees, which is a good indicator of the entrepreneurship in the community. Another 9,600 business have between 10 and 50 employees, 2,106 have between 50 and 250, and 144 businesses have more than 250 employees.

One of the greatest strengths of our Chamber is seeing our members make a difference beyond their businesses.
This week, our Chamber President, Rick, owner of Rick's Island Salon & Day Spa, generously hosted a special spa day for participants of Camp Able, an incredible program sponsored each year by Wesley United Methodist Church.
For more than a decade, the Marco Island Area Chamber of Commerce has been proud to support Camp Able and its mission of providing a free week-long camp for teenagers and adults with special needs while giving parents and caregivers a well-deserved opportunity to rest and recharge.
It was a wonderful reminder of the impact kindness and community can have.
Thank you to Rick, the team at Rick's Island Salon & Day Spa, Camp Able, and everyone who continues to support this incredible tradition. Together, we're helping make Marco Island an even stronger community.
