A few words about "Email Blasts"........

Email "blasts" should NOT be a substitute for YOU posting the information on the Chamber website as a "BLOG" or on your FREE Business profile page.

The purpose of email “blasts” is to provide a valuable benefit to our members in reaching a large, interested audience including Marco Island Area Chamber of Commerce members and those who have visited our website and 'subsribed' to our online news notifications. Businesses requesting email blasts, must have already posted the information on www.marcoislandchamber.org.

There are TWO types of “blasts”:

1. Non-Profits/Clubs or Organizations can announce/promote your organization’s upcoming event. Maximum 12 per year/per club or organization, regardless of content. These blasts can be sent ONE initial time, and scheduled to be sent at ONE later date of your choosing. (The same message will only be sent a maximum of 2 times).

2. Local Businesses can request an email blast about a special event, sale, new product, new service or celebration. ONLY ONE BLAST PER MONTH, PER BUSINESS is permitted.

Message content must be sent in a MSWORD, PDF or JPEG file format (as an attachment to an email) and MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING WITHIN THE SAVED FILE: Subject, Date of Event, Time of event, cost of event, Contact Name, Contact Phone, Contact email.

TIP: Use the simple “who, what, when, where & why” as your template for building your ‘flyer’.
