Artist Colony At The Esplanade

Fifteen individual artists in three galleries comprise the Artist Colony at the Esplanade on Marco Island. Amoung the artists are painters, photographers, mixed media artists, a potter and a concrete artists.

The Colony studio/galleries are opened from Wednesday through Friday 11-7 and Saturday 11-4. The artists invite you to browse the galleries and talk with the artists about their work.

The artists invite you to their themed Last Wednesday Art Walks, held the last Wednesday of every month from 5-8 pm. The Art Walks include refreshments and music, new art works, and often a chance to particpate by choosing the People's Choice work of art for the month.

The Artist Colony at the Esplanade is a partnership between the artists, the Esplanade owners, and a joint venture for the the Art League Marco Island Center for the Arts and the Marco Island Foundation for the Arts.
