Being a great place to live also means being a great place to work. A thriving economy and attractive tax rates for businesses, Marco Island is the perfect place to operate your business. There are 47,426 business establishments in Marco Island’s Collier County with fewer than 10 employees, which is a good indicator of the entrepreneurship in the community. Another 9,600 business have between 10 and 50 employees, 2,106 have between 50 and 250, and 144 businesses have more than 250 employees.

For more than two decades, Leadership Marco has provided participants with a unique opportunity to learn about the people, organizations, history, businesses, and community partnerships that help make Marco Island such a special place to live and work.
From government and education to public safety, healthcare, tourism, and the environment, participants gain a behind-the-scenes look at the community while building meaningful relationships with fellow leaders along the way.
